Universal Civil Service 2025

Once again, Caritas Diocesana Trieste opens its doors to young people who wish to apply for the Universal Civil Service, offering them the opportunity to contribute concretely to improving our society.

Applying as a volunteer means choosing to dedicate one year of your life to activities aimed at supporting the community, offering help to those facing difficult times or living in conditions of need.

To submit your application, simply visit the Universal Civil Service website and fill out the online form by 14:00 on February 27, 2025. Applications are open to all young people, both Italian and foreign residents in Italy, aged between 18 and 25 years.

The projects require a commitment of 25 hours per week and provide a monthly contribution of €507.30. You can read the full call here.

“Il Teresiano” Shelter
The selected volunteers will have the opportunity to serve at the homeless shelter, engaging in activities like accompanying individuals, supporting those in need, and animating the community.

Giorgia Monti Refectorium
This project is designed to provide support to individuals in severe poverty, including migrants passing through our city. Volunteers will help those living on the streets or in financial difficulty, unable to secure their daily meals.

Solidarity Emporium
At the Emporium, a volunteer will manage food collections, interpersonal relations, and participate in awareness-raising activities related to food poverty.
