Breaking the silence: participation and support for the most vulnerable

On the occasion of the World Day of the Poor, Pope Francis invites us to reflect on poverty and on people in difficulty, often overlooked amidst the frenzy of everyday life. His message recalls the importance of breaking the silence that envelops fragility, with an embrace of welcome and solidarity.

Caritas Diocesana Trieste becomes the spokesperson for this message and organizes, on November 22, 2024, a moment of reflection to give voice to those who, every day, face poverty and social hardship in our city. Through stories, faces, and testimonies, the conference will be an important opportunity to discover a lesser-known but vibrant Trieste, made up of people who every day put themselves at the service of others and the most vulnerable to break the silence that surrounds fragility.
