Solidarity Civil Service 2026
Also this year, Caritas Diocesana Trieste offers boys and girls an important opportunity for personal growth, civic engagement and active participation in community life: the Solidarity Civil Service.
Who can apply?
Boys and girls, both Italian and foreign residents in Friuli Venezia Giulia, who by May 18, 2026 have turned 16 but are not yet 18, can apply.

Selection interviews
The dates for the selection interviews of candidates for the Solidarity Civil Service will be communicated on the website www.caritastrieste.it.
How to apply
The application form can be downloaded from www.infoserviziocivile.it and submitted via:
- Certified email (PEC) to fondazione.caritastrieste@pec.it
- registered mail (A/R) to Caritas Trieste – via Cavana 16, 34124 Trieste
- hand delivery at the same address
It is possible to submit only one application for one single project.
Volunteers participating in the Solidarity Civil Service are entitled to a total allowance of €1.116,00 for participation in 360-hour projects, and €744,00 for participation in 240-hour projects.
The amounts are paid proportionally to the hours actually completed, via transfer to the bank account indicated by the applicant.

Renewable Youth Synergies 2026
Available positions: 6
A project to experience educational and recreational activities with children and young people. Workshops, games, days at the seaside, to develop relationships in a community context and support families belonging to more vulnerable groups.
Service locations:
- Parrocchia Sacro Cuore – via del Ronco 12, Trieste
- Parrocchia Gesù Divino Operaio – via Benussi 13, Trieste
Duration: 240 hours
Implementation period: July 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026
Energies in Circulation 2026
Available positions: 6
An annual project dedicated to school support, social integration and community animation.Volunteers will support children and young people in after-school activities, games, workshops and cultural initiatives to counter isolation and promote cohesion.
Service locations:
- Refettorio “Giorgia Monti” – via dell’Istria 73, Trieste
- After-school center at Casa Stani – via dell’Istria 69, Trieste
- Parrocchia Sacro Cuore – via del Ronco 12, Trieste
- Parrocchia Gesù Divino Operaio – via Benussi 13, Trieste
Duration: 360 hours
Implementation period: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027
