Saturday 13 December: 18th Food Collection

Caritas Diocesana di Trieste invites the community to take part in the eighteenth edition of the Food Collection, the second event of the 2025–2026 Solidarity Calendar.
The initiative, scheduled for Saturday 13 December in numerous supermarkets across the city and province, represents an important moment of collective participation. It was created to support, in an increasingly widespread way, individuals and families experiencing economic hardship. In these circumstances, even a small gesture, such as donating a few products, can make a meaningful impact, easing the burden of difficulties and strengthening the solidarity network that embraces and sustains our territory.
How to participate
On Saturday 13 December, throughout the day, you may visit any of the participating stores, easily recognisable from the official poster, and hand the products you wish to donate to the volunteers. These will then be distributed by Caritas Diocesana Trieste and by the city’s parishes through projects and services dedicated to supporting those most in need.
