Note from Caritas Diocesana Trieste regarding the communiqué from USB Federation of Trieste

In relation to the statement made by USB Federation of Trieste in their communiqué about the strike called this morning by Caritas operators from the kitchen, cafeteria, and meal distribution service, Caritas Diocesana Trieste denounces the presence of distorted and biased information that falsifies reality and the facts.

As already communicated to the affected staff, the upcoming transfer to Sodexo, scheduled for the coming weeks, will ensure the hiring of all workers under the same economic and contractual conditions.

The Caritas Foundation is fully committed to providing the best possible service to those in greater need, while guaranteeing workers their rights. However, the critical situation that has built up requires a reorganization. In this, all staff have been properly informed and involved.
