participates, together with other organizations across the country, in the project promoted by for assistance to immigrants and funded by the for the year 2024.
The project is supported by the , pursuant to Article 72 of Legislative Decree no. 117/2017, and aims to promote the social inclusion of people experiencing vulnerability through:
- Support actions, rights protection, and combating vulnerability
- Awareness-raising, training, and educational activities to strengthen more cohesive, united, and supportive communities
The project promotes the inclusion of the most vulnerable individuals, often on the margins of society, within the various local contexts where it is implemented.
This makes it possible to address challenges which, though varying by territory, share common characteristics linked to the prolonged impact of inflation that pushes more and more people into absolute poverty, the lack of decent and well-paid jobs, ongoing regulatory changes in residence permits, and the fragility of family units—particularly single-parent households or those composed of third-country nationals.
At the same time, the project also promotes a cultural action to counter stereotypes in a context where the economic crisis and the resurgence of migratory flows after the pandemic have fueled hostile narratives, fake news, and hate speech against vulnerable groups such as migrants, detainees, and people experiencing homelessness.
contributes its experience and local network to the implementation of this initiative, in synergy with all participating partners.
