Collection of personal and household hygiene products

The Diocesan Caritas of Trieste invites the community to participate in the first initiative of the new 2025–2026 Calendar of Solidarity: a collection dedicated to personal and household hygiene products, scheduled for Saturday, October 25, at various stores throughout the city.

Living in poverty does not only mean having to give up food. There are equally essential needs related to personal care and the dignity of everyday life, which Caritas aims to address through this day of solidarity.
The collected products will be distributed to the services of the Diocesan Caritas and local parishes, which will provide them to families and individuals in need.

This initiative marks the beginning of a path of continuity and constant attention toward those in vulnerable situations: during the year, the Calendar of Solidarity also includes two other food collections, aiming to provide ongoing and concrete support to the community.

Those wishing to participate can go, during the day on Saturday, to one of the participating stores and donate one or more personal or household hygiene products to the Caritas volunteers present on site.
