19th Food Collection – Saturday 18 April

Caritas Diocesana di Trieste invites the community to take part in the nineteenth edition of the Food Collection, the third event of the 2025–2026 Solidarity Calendar, scheduled for Saturday 18 April in numerous supermarkets across the city and province.

The day represents an important moment of collective participation, created to support individuals and families experiencing economic hardship. Even a small gesture, such as donating a few items from your shopping, can have a concrete and positive impact, easing daily difficulties and strengthening the solidarity network that supports the local community.

How to participate
On Saturday 18 April, throughout the day, it will be possible to visit the participating stores, easily recognisable thanks to the official poster, and hand over the products you wish to donate to the volunteers. These will then be distributed by Caritas Diocesana Trieste and local parishes through initiatives and services dedicated to supporting those most in need.
